So I was waiting for an appointment for 3 weeks and when I went in for the appointment I wasn't even called into the test room, rather the rude old woman with the ginger wig spoke to me in the waiting area (who I didn't have an appointment with). When she came out she only gave me 1 minute of her time, so I waited 3 weeks for an appointment when all I got was attitude and spoke to like I'm nothing, and only 1 minute of her time. She was quickly trying to get rid of me. I made the appointment specifically with Mrs Reed and on the day they said she doesn't be in on this day, so they lied to me too. I told her I had the problem since march and asked "can you not help me? I've waited so long for this appointment and this is really affecting me." and she was very rudely replying "no" to everything I was saying and shaking her head like a kid every time she said no & that was her response to all my questions and was giving me a lot of attitude when she spoke to me. She gradually started raising her voice as our very very short conversation progressed. I couldn't believe I was spoken to like this. I walked out with tears in my eyes because of how upset they made me. So I waited 3 weeks just to be spoken to like that and she didn't even have the audacity to take me to the testing room to do it, she did it in front of everyone watching while the receptionist got a good laugh from it and looking at each other and smiling. Didn't know other peoples health problems were so hilarious. I felt I was ganged up on. I didn't get no help from them whatsoever. Such ill mannered people at the opticians. Please do yourself a favour and don't go here. You can get appointments else where with better service, with complete honesty, and they actually help you . Do not come here. I am leaving this opticians, don't need people treating me like I'm nothing when all I'm asking for is there help.They get paid for doing nothing. It's their job and they are clearly not doing it.
I've always has excellent service here. I've often found it faster to get an appointment at the branch with whom I wanted to. The Eye Site Opticians are great optitians, with a few branches in / around Salford in Manchester.
Their Administration is a shambles. Records are incorrect. They say I had an Eye Test in Early 2023 at their Shop in Crumpsall. I did NOT have an Eye Test. Accordingly, I will have to check with the NHS
Fantastic service, staff were very friendly and the optician was really helpful. When it came to choosing my glasses the manager went out of her way to make sure I was happy with the frames. Can't wait to pick them up. Thanks 🤓👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
