Recently got some new glasses here after not finding any frames I liked elsewhere. The team were all lovely and helped me find the right frames and colour. When I came to pick up my glasses I was served by the lovely Issa who was extremely welcoming and helped fit my new glasses and process the last bit of my order . Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a new pair of glasses :)
Came in to get my glasses fixed. The team I met were very welcoming. Hass was very helpful and friendly! Gave very quick and quality service! He made sure that my glasses were comfortable and cleaned. I ended up getting a new pair too that Hass was able to tailor to me. Definitely recommend!
Don’t both with the Manchester branch of Ace and Tate. Go to Leeds. I ordered and went to collect my new glasses from the Manchester branch. First they were delayed which wasn’t the main issue. When I saw the new glasses they looked very curved compared to the frame on display. I tried the glasses on so they staff could check and adjust the fit. The glasses kept sitting awkwardly on my face. The staff member adjusted them multiple times because they just weren’t sitting right. You can tell when glasses are sitting awkwardly and are not comfortable. The young staff member behind the counter kept adjusting and trying to convince me they looked fine. But I was clearly being fobbed off. She then handed the frames to another staff member and he had a go at moulding the frame and for a minute they were fine. I walked away and tried them on again in the car after taking my contact lenses out. And they were still wonky. Also I don’t understand why the main frame was so curved. It seems the staff are not properly trained and a bunch of GenZs who have no care for providing a quality customer service and come with a bad attitude. I took my glasses to the Leeds branch of A&T because I was in Leeds the next day and the customer service was exemplary. A staff member gave me undivided attention and went above and beyond to resolve the issue. I initially went in to return the glasses because I had given up hope. But I walked away with a new pair of the same frames that fit right. The vibe in the Manchester branch is moody and inattentive. Leeds on the other hand is bright, open and welcoming. I have bought two pairs of glasses from the Leeds branch and they have been perfect. I don’t know what possessed me to go to the Manchester branch. A&T frames are great but go to another branch other than Manchester.
Amazing experience from start to finish! I came for a free eye test and found out I needed a small prescription. Then Issa and Hassan were so good at helping me find the perfect glasses in the shop. All the staff was so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend 😊💯
Train your staff to be more welcoming?? I came to ace and tate following a recommendation by someone that was already a customer, I was needing some new glasses as my frames were broken and needed some new ones. Since I did want to become a customer I did want to test if I would receive good service at first. However the staff were just giving weird looks when I was looking around, so I approached a lovely lady who worked there and asked if they had any tote bags, she said she’ll go and have a look but when she went to speak to her co worker I noticed in the mirror that he looked back at me and gave me a weird unwelcoming look, it felt so rude but when she told me I had to be a customer to get one I took it as a sign to leave. God forbid a teenager come in to ask for a tote bag. Might return but maybe advise your millennial staff to be more friendly lmao.
