Just received my 5th cancellation! I’m currently using Astley dental as an NHS patient as I’ve recently had my first child. I don’t know if others have had this experience but it’s so disappointing to book an appointment 3 months in advance and every time have it cancelled to 1-2 months later each time. The staff are lovely but I feel like they are cancelling NHS appointments for private ones.
Ahmed carried out a particularly complex root canal on my tooth. From start to finish he was considerate, informative and made me feel so calm about the whole experience. I was really nervous beforehand but can I honestly say to anyone worried about having this treatment, you are in safe hands with Ahmed. Would 100% recommend him without hesitation. I cannot thank Dr Ahmed enough, after a not very nice experience at a previous dental practice I was very anxious getting any work on my teeth done. But he went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable, he talked me through every step of what he was doing, taking the time to explain everything. He was always asking if I felt okay and comfortable. He did a AMAZING job on my teeth and has made me feel so much more at ease and confident with the future work I have booked in with him. Such a warm and friendly dental practice! Dr. Ahmed was absolutely amazing with my daughter's 1st check-up yesterday. He's extremely professional and great with kids. My daughter loved the way he explained the procedures to her before performing them and helped her be at ease throughout the check-up. Reception and nursing team were also amazing. Will definitely recommend this place.
