Beautiful scenery. Lovely fancy looking food. We attended late in the evening during a 50% off food event and it was amazing! The waitress was friendly even at the end of her shift and still asked us the occasion etc. and gave her recommendations when a side plate I ordered was out of stock.
We had our wedding reception at Grand Pacific at the beginning of this year and I can’t thank Claire and the bar/restaurant team enough for making our day so incredible. The décor at Grand Pacific is so stunning and it was such an amazing venue to host guests who travelled from all over. Our guests were so impressed by the interiors and city views. It was a perfect setting for a city wedding and it was the perfect backdrop for our wedding pictures. When planning the wedding, Claire was so attentive to all of my questions and requests about the venue/food/drinks over email and made sure we covered everything before the wedding day. On the day, Claire was there to help set up the venue, meet suppliers and was also there all day to make sure the day ran smoothly, which meant I didn’t have to worry about any of these things on the morning of the wedding. There were a few issues on the day such as the speeches running late due to guests being stuck in traffic which set back the time we had planned for dinner. Claire was so incredibly helpful to solve any issues and made sure the day ran as smoothly as possible. Claire made sure these issues went unnoticed and as the bride I had no idea of any issues going on, which I can’t thank Claire enough for! The bar and restaurant staff were so attentive, helpful and so friendly to guests. I was so busy chatting with guests that I didn’t get the chance to talk to or thank the staff. I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who worked the day of our wedding! The food/wine/cocktails were incredible and we have received so many compliments from guests. Many said the food was the best they’ve had at a wedding! Thanks again to everyone at Grand Pacific!

The food was fantastic and well presented, the staff were polite and friendly and the venue was absolutely beautiful. The only negative I have from my visit is on the seating as it is incredibly uncomfortable in the booths and you need to sit upright for the entire meal as the backrest is so far away or slouch entirely into the seat being unable to reach the table.
Starting with the positives, the food was very tasty. We ordered a Thai green curry with sea bass and mussels, accompanied by a side of rice, as well as a pan roasted chicken supreme. The manager was friendly, and the restaurant’s interior was beautifully designed, creating a great ambiance. However, the portion sizes were disappointingly small. The pan roasted chicken supreme consisted of just a chicken leg with a few pieces of cabbage and edamame, all surrounded by a green sauce. I was surprised, as I had expected more vegetables at the very least. As for the Thai green curry, the flavours were great, but the rice wasn’t included and had to be ordered separately—only to arrive in a tiny portion. The service felt a bit rushed, with the waiter hurrying other customers. They also used a common trick with the water—asking if you wanted still or sparkling as soon as you walk in, usually when you’re feeling thirsty from the journey. They then bring out an already opened bottle without mentioning that it’s an extra charge. It’s only when the bill arrives that you realise you’ve been charged for it. If you don’t want to pay for water, just ask for tap water, and they’ll bring out a jug. We ultimately decided not to order anything else, as the portion sizes didn’t seem worth the price. Overall, if you’re looking for a light lunch with great flavors, this could be a good choice. But if you’re looking for an average sized portion meal that fills you up, this might not be the place for you.
