My go to barber, these days. Decent, down to earth bloke in there, that cuts hair with skill, in rapid time, at great prices. Old school, no nonsense setting with good conversation, and no trendy autotuned sounding rubbish coming from a radio. I'd prefer this place over posh or trendy barbers that hum of top shelf perfume (especially in Altrincham), that take an age to do the job and cost a fortune. Forget all that 'men's' manicure rubbish, here. A real blokes barber, for sure.
THE WORST BARBER SHOP IVE EVER BEEN TO! I asked for a 1 back and sides mid fade with a trim on top. He started to give me a 8 on top when I asked for a trim and blend. He cut it so short it wasn't what I asked for. He then said he's been barbering for 25 years and knows what he's doing. This guy gives you the haircut he wants to give you and not the one that you ask for. On top of that that I was done in like 4mins. Why did I make this stupid mistake. Never again!
This is the worst barbers (possibly in existence) I stupidly visited and asked for a short back and sides and a trim on top - having been lured in by the cheap prices. The chap got some clippers and sheared all my hair off either side of my head before I realised what was happening - he then said he doesn’t do scissor cuts and preceded to buzz the top of my hair with a number 5. This process took about 2 minutes and then he ushered me out of the chair to pay. Having got home he hasn’t even done a clean job and my hair is completely lop sided. Off to a competent barber tomorrow to hopefully remedy. Reading the other reviews I’m surprised he’s still in business. Asbsolute criminal!
We’ve known this barbers to be commonly referred as the ‘Wuhan Barber’ because we’re pretty sure covid originated here. I went in with a clean scalp, I came out with nits. His politics are worse than his barbering skills. After 2 minutes, he finished, then I was booted out, only for the next unfortunate victim to sit in the chair. At least he’s cheap though. I’ll be back again soon.
Jesus Christ, whatever you do don’t use this barbers, unless you no longer have any respect for yourself or your appearance. Cheap price should reflect the service you’ll receive here. Maybe I was naive to think a short back and sides wasn’t too much to ask for, boy was I wrong. Upside is it only took two minutes so if you’re in a rush to throw yourself off a cliff then this could be the barbershop for you.
