Advised to go here by CHP in Failsworth "because they have loads of spares" for old stuff, new stuff ect and may be able to help. It was a long shot but appears they don't have anything special like a really large inventory of older parts or anything like this as expected. They were okay but nothing special. Because they didnt have a selection of suitable seals or a similar unit to replace the old flusher I was offered a fairly pricey unit I could have picked up similar for £12 from screwfix or toolstation.

Very poor product knowledge by counter staff and totally unwilling to assist even though I had the old tap valve with me. He Couldn’t be bothered to try and match the item. Next plumbing outlet I went to in Denton couldn’t have been more helpful and matched the valve in a couple of minutes. I’ll not be visiting kingsway plumbing again.
Went to the shop today with a non standard bathroom sink fitting. The man was soooo kind and helpful. He took the time to find a washer that would fit and didn't charge me. He also explained what the problem was. When I got back home, the washer fitted! I'm so chuffed and will always go back to Kingsway Plumbing for any future purchases - 10 out of 10!!
I live in Northern Ireland, or as I like to call it Treasure Ireland, for if we try and buy something from anybody other than Amazon, they either can't, or won't supply it, or have their arm in on the price/delivery costs. NOT THIS COMPANY, they were brilliant, I really hope I don't have to buy any more specialist plumbing goods, but if I do, they will be my first port if call - NOTHING IS TOO MUCH TROUBLE FOR THESE GUYS
