Really central location for exploring the main attractions in the city centres of both Manchester and Salford, and right outside Salford City railway station. Friendly manager and staff, with a lively pub on the ground floor playing host to live music at the weekend.
Very clean pub with awesome beers on tap. Very well kept. Service is excellent. The Holts beers are cheap as chips and spot on. The branded exported beers are not cheap but some of the very best I've had in Manchester. Highly recommended.
Attractive historic building. Friendly atmosphere. Unfortunately the Holts wasn't on despite it being a Holts pub. There was a very decent Durham ale available though.
£3 pint on a lunchtime, cant go wrong
Great location and 15 minutes' walk can get you to the city centre. A Tesco Express is nearby. The rooms, toilets, and bath rooms are clean and well maintained. The staff are friendly and the host is responsive and helpful.
