So I booked a table for Myself and 10 friends for my birthday, and the whole experience was nothing short of exceptional. The staff were friendly, polite and very attentive and couldn't do enough for us. The lunch was simply fantastic. We ordered 5 sharing Sunday lunch sharing platters and 2 individual meals, all of which came out at the same time and were cooked to perfection. The amount of lunch we recieved was outstanding and the highlight of the day was a dessert coming out with a very special touch. Thank you for making the day just perfect. If you've not yet visited Abel Heywood then make it so. We'll definitely be back!
Didn't stay in rooms But bar is amazing and food is fantastic. Huge portions, good price, great tap selection. Honestly love this pub and as soon as you walk in you get a homely vibe. It's ironically in this weird back alley which kind of looks sketch but it seems quite safe overall. Lots of bars and restos around this location so if you are staying it's very central. Alive area and parking garage right across the street.
Very very nice pub and boutique hotel. Rooms a bit on the small side, but with a comfortable bed and a/c. Absolutely no sound got through from the very busy and loud pub. Excellent breakfast. Excellent bar. Location is ideal in the Northern Quarter. Very friendly staff, very helpful. Would definitely go back again!
We decided to have a night away from day to day life and my partner booked us to stay here. From the moment we arrived we were met by friendly staff, who helped us check into our room. We then had a drink in the bar before we went off for our planned day. There is a good choice of ale, lager and other drinks. The vibe here is also very good. The room was perfect for a one night getaway, it was clean and modern, internet access, good facilities within the room. After a decent Kip, we had breakfast booked in and my partner had the full fry up and myself had a sausage sandwich and hash brown. Check is not until 11 so it has been a great experience and would stay again when the opportunity arises.
Me and my wife went in for a drink for the first time the service was excellent, and we ended up staying for food. The food looked and tasted amazing. The staff were friendly and could not do enough for you. I would highly recommend a visit. There is plenty of seating and a good atmosphere.
