Great stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. The location is good. Not too far from the train station, buses and tram. Just be careful if u order a taxi from the hotel to the airport. I was charged £48 but later found out when I spoke to the hotel because that sounded like a lot to me I should have been charged £28!!! Not the hotel's but please ask how much when they order for you.

Extremely recommended! Good location, between Oxford street and Piccadilly. 5-10mins by walking from both stations. Near China town and close by to the centre. Staffs are extremely friendly, room is clean and breakfast is amazing but only have fresh watermelon and pineapple. If have more fresh fruit during breakfast would be more great. One recommendation: if there is a litter bin in the bedroom would be more convenient for people, otherwise need to go the entry door or toilet to throw things.

To start with this is a fantastic location for central Manchester, easy to find and the Q park Piazza is not far away at all. You’re close to lots of bars clubs and casinos if that’s your bag. The hotel item was fresh bright and welcoming, staff were friendly and eager to help even with my request for gluten free breakfast. The room itself felt comfortable and quietly classy, it was clean and fresh with nice pillows and bedding. Sadly my view was the walk of the building next door but what do you expect in the city centre! I slept so well and the hotel was overall quiet with no loud doors banging etc. the pillows were so squishy I’m tempted to buy one. The room had plenty of storage and a lovely coffee machine with a small fridge and air con which was great. So the best bit was the breakfast with a well catered for section for gluten free with a lot of choice I felt at ease! Overall it was good value and I would love to come back!

This hotel is in a great location and makes for an ideal base for a weekend in the city. It’s recently changed hands so the frequent references to New York might seem bizarre, but the whole property maintains the vibe. We arrived around the published check in time and the reception desks were rather overwhelmed - it’s clearly a popular hotel so having a few more members of staff dealing with the large number of arrivals would be welcome. However the staff were friendly and there’s some nice seating in the lobby area if you do have to wait. Our room was on the seventh floor and one of the standard offerings. It was a decent enough size for a couple of nights and had a decent range of amenities - coffee machine, mini bar (although empty), cans of water, reading material about the city and a couple of arm chairs. The decor was cosy and the air-conditioning worked well without being too noisy. The TV was a good size although the interface was far too clunky and slow, but there was a nice radio and electric sockets next to both sides of the bed. The bathroom was a little more cramped than the main room but had brilliant decor. It was very modern and spotlessly clean with plenty of large bottles of decent toiletries. The shower was lovely with good power and plenty of storage space, plus the unique touch of being able to turn on without having to get wet! The views from the room weren’t much to write home about but there was no noise at all during the night, and with the wonderful pillows and comfortable bed it was a great night’s sleep. Overall the room was great and there were no complaints there! There’s a decent bar on the ground floor with a full range of drinks and some very friendly staff. If you’re not wanting to sit in the dining area then there’s some more relaxing sofas surrounded by interesting decor, and an amazing theatre style area with large projector - ideal for keeping up with the sport without having to venture out. I’d certainly stay here again and when the price is right it’s a great value property with all the amenities giving a high end feel.

Always a lovely stay every time we have been. We have stayed a few times now, back when it was named Brooklyn and now as Voco and have never been disappointed. We always have The King terraced suite and it is amazing each time, has never been a let down. Staff are friendly, polite and very helpful. The only small criticism would be a larger selection in the mini bar would be great :)
