Ate in the honey restaurant with a small group for my birthday. The whole thing is a strange experience. Staff weren’t particularly friendly. Food was good and nicely presented. We went with a voucher which I had emailed and phoned about and asked if we could upgrade the Prosecco to champagne - and pay the difference. Not a strange request but the price difference is questionable. We’ve been - one to tick off but there are definitely far nicer places to eat in Manchester with far friendlier staff. The atmosphere is a little cold and unfriendly. The actual architecture is great!
Lovely boutique hotel, the room was great and we loved the aesthetic and style of the hotel. Dinner in the restaurant was really nice quality food with knowledgeable and attentive staff. Only downside was we were not advised of breakfast time at check in, we googled it and saw it was until 10:30, we as arrived just after 10 and were turned away as it had finished. It was a bit of a dampener after looking forward to a nice breakfast before we left.
We recently stayed at the Gotham Hotel in Manchester for one night, and it was an unforgettable experience. We were traveling with our daughter and opted for a suite, which turned out to be a perfect choice. The suite was spacious and elegantly decorated. The attention to detail in the room's design made it feel luxurious and comfortable, providing a wonderful atmosphere for both relaxation and enjoyment. Upon arrival, we were greeted with exceptional service, and the valet service took care of our car promptly and efficiently. This convenience allowed us to begin our stay without any hassle, adding to the overall positive experience. Impressively, the valet service even included cool cans of water for our journey home, a thoughtful touch that we greatly appreciated. In the evening, we visited the hotel's bar for drinks. The ambiance was sophisticated, and the staff was friendly and attentive. The drink selection was impressive, featuring a range of expertly crafted cocktails. We particularly appreciated the intimate and stylish setting, which made for a delightful end to our day. The next morning, we had breakfast at the hotel, and we were especially impressed with how they accommodated our daughter's dietary requirements. The staff was very understanding and provided a delicious meal that catered perfectly to her needs, making us feel truly cared for. Overall, our stay at the Gotham Hotel exceeded our expectations. The combination of excellent service, luxurious accommodations, and a vibrant bar made it a memorable visit. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a unique and high-end experience in Manchester. We look forward to returning in the future.
We have just got back from the most amazing night in the hotel Gotham. This was booked for a 60th birthday and it didn't disappoint. From the moment we walked through the door, the level of professionalism and friendliness of the staff was apparent. We loved the theme and how it flowed throughout the entire hotel and it appeared that everything had been meticulously thought out. When we went into our room we were blown away by how beautifully laid out it was and how all the little touches had been thought of. The bed was so comfortable and the shower was the best one we'd ever had. We loved the view from the bedroom and how quiet and relaxing it was in our room. The bar is stunning, especially the varandas and the views from them. The staff were friendly and helpful and the ambience was lovely and relaxing. We opted for breakfast in the dining room rather than having room service and we had a fabulous view from our table. The full English breakfast was very good and arrived straight away after ordering. All in all, our visit was very positive and we were really sad to leave. It definitely isn't a cheap hotel but it was a luxury night out for us to celebrate a special birthday and we felt it was worth every penny. Thank you Gotham.
We went for an afternoon tea here for our joint birthday. It was a really classy experience and Michelle looked after us really well. All the food was very very good and we left very contented and feeling special. I definitely recommend this one for a special occasion you might have coming up, it's the perfect treat. We'll definitely be back to stay over at some point.
