Dont post reviews but the food was so good I had no choice but to drop a review. I ordered a curry goat rice and peas and thigh piece of fried chicken. The portion sizes were massive and the piece of fried chicken I ate was definetly top 3 fried chicken I have ever ate. The lady that served me was very friendly and welcoming 10 10 from me keep up the good work.
The food here is really a hit & miss, I have visited 5 times. 3 times it was lovely, the other 2 times not so much so! So, I'm wondering if there is intact two chefs? I unfortunately had to throw the food away on my last visit. The fish was sloppy and tasteless!! I love to support Caribbean businesses but alot of our establishments are watered down for European tastes and do not taste like Authentic Caribbean food. Please add a better vegetarian menu , There is never any veggie patties instock? Please only advertise on your website and just eat what is available when we visit? Keep up the work & hopefully in time the business will get better and grow in strength.. :)
The food is fresh and hot. Soul food at it's best. The earth food, yam, dumpling, potato and green banana is just what you need in the weather to come. Couple that with a rib-sticking oxtail stew or tender steak and you are ready to face anything. Finish with any of the familiar, comfort desserts will take you back to your childhood. My daughter and I loved it and think you will, too.
Absolutely love this place! Always good vibes and delicious fresh food. The best Ackee and Saltfish in Manchester. Definitely recommend this place if you want proper Caribbean food.
I always love the food from here. There is a good selection of dishes that are all decently priced. They offer take out and you can also eat inside.
